Grammys

I watched the Grammy's last night--yes I did. For me that was an accomplishment in and of itself because I generally dislike award shows of any kind. Performances have truly lacked luster in any award show in the past decade but none more noticeably'to me' than with the Grammy's. There were a couple of notable exceptions but for the most part I could have gladly done without any of the entertainment during that show. The only one I really did like was 'Stay' by Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland.

Adele, best new performer gave a lackluster, deadpan performance. Luckily for her Nettles joined her on stage and showed her how to show emotion while you sing.M.I.A, although a great singer, showed some rather overly produced baby exposure in an ugly tight fitting dress. I'm surprised she did manage to sing well with all that baby pressure. I'm just glad she didn't go into labor right there on the stage.
